BullDAST, founded in 2000 and based in Turin (Italy), is a company with the two-fold mission of developing EDA tools for low-power digital systems and of providing microelectronics industries and system houses with tool flow integration and training products services.
BullDAST entertains business relations and partnerships with several key players of the semiconductor market.
The company is also particularly sensitive to innovative R&D activities. As such it collaborates with several academie and research institutes, in Italy and abroad, including Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano, Università di Bologna, Università di Verona, OFFIS, UP. BullDAST is involved in three IST projects: IST-2000-30093: Enenrgy-aware system-on-chip design of the Hiperlan/2 standard ("EASY"), project IST-2000-30125: POwer optimisation of embedded systems ("POET"), and project IST-2001-34631: Industry-driven training for low-power European designers ("INTRALED").
