Memory Power Optimization

Today's modern SOC platforms usually support applications where a significant amount of power is consumed during memory accesses. Within a given memory hierarchy level, the power consumption of these memory-intensive applications can be reduced by applying different memory partitioning techniques.

automatically partitions a monolithic memory into an optimal number of memory banks. The principle of memory partitioning is to sub-divide the adress space into several smaller banks that can be independently enabled and disable.

guarantes the optimale memory architecture, including the memory decoder and it updates the RTL design accordingly.
